ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
Our Mission Statement
Erial Community Church Christian School serves students across preschool through middle school, offering a complete academic pathway built on biblical truth and rigorous instruction designed for long-term educational success. Each program stage prepares students for the next level of learning while fostering spiritual growth, character development, and strong relationships with teachers who understand individual learning needs. The school's small-school environment enables teachers to deliver personalized attention, adjust instruction to match student progress, and build meaningful connections that support both classroom achievement and personal confidence.
This structured academic journey addresses the developmental needs of each age group, beginning with foundational literacy and numeracy skills in preschool and progressing toward increased academic responsibility and independence in middle school. Programs are designed to complement one another, ensuring students build upon previous learning while developing the critical thinking, problem-solving, and study habits necessary for future educational challenges.

Our History
While the foundation of Erial Community Church dates back to the Civil War, Erial Community Church Christian School is entering its 33rd year as a Nursery to 8th-grade school.
The school was founded in 1984 as the daycare center, God’s Little People, by three women; a nurse, a teacher, and an administrator. It was quickly apparent that there was a need for a school so in 1991, God’s Little People merged with Erial Community Church and opened its door as Erial Community Church Christian School.
After the first two students graduated kindergarten, the school expanded one grade per year until it eventually reached the 8th grade. In 1985, ECCCS became a member of the Garden State Association of Christian Schools and The American Association of Christian Schools.
The school continues to succeed with the use of the A Beka curriculum as we educate our students for eternity.
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
